Rover Turbo Coupes

Morning All,

I was just wondering why some of the Turbo Coupes I have seen (on here and for sale) are coming up ROVER 220 COUPE on the RAC check and also on the V5. There seems to be no mention of the Turbo. Some of them do not look like conversions to me! Also if this is all OK and they are 'proper' turbos how will the insurance see them?

Was bust wondering if it was anything to do with the Japanese Coupes?

If its a proper coupe turbo it should say on the log book coupe turbo.

Type this reg into RAC...M198 KAG my old car should say coupe turbo.

That's right mate, it comes up turbo. So can we presume that all the ones that don't come up with the word turbo are conversions? Also I have found one that has a turbo engine, the proper sticker on the back and is being sold as a turbo by a dealer, but is only listed as ROVER COUPE - No 220 or anything!

If i understood him correctly, Si did the RAC check on his and it came up as a 420!!

you'll be suprised how many errors there are on the DVLA listings. I am suire the chassis number will tell you more about the car.

The RAC check brings mine up as a 4 Door Coupe, so I'd say its not that accurate :p
