Re: quick question about brakes
I think it could have either, though just take a quick look, that would be the best way.LondonMX wrote:Hi does my Rover 216GSi auto 1991 J-reg with ABS have discs on the back or drums? cheers...
I am doing a sponsored bike ride in September this year, from Dublin to Cork. I am raising the money for SCOPE.

Even a 30 year old Polski Fiat has discs all round, it's just that they don't seem to work that well.

Stella now gone, Ruby is my baby now.

Ok thanks for the help i was just curious what was on the car thats all. I had the understanding that 4 discs were better than 2 discs and 2 drums, but maybe it depends what car and different circumstances on which setup is better.

I think I'm right in thinking that LondonMX's car is pretty standard. If that's the case then it's probably got steel rims with hubcaps which means you'd have to have x-ray vision to see the brakes.

But why not just look at the car again.
Well, that's what the Haynes states.

Andy I'm 95% sure you're right. Also the front discs were ventilated like the 220's.
