the above car was bought from the MG X Power closing down auction.

the plan is....

repaint in original Trophy yellow (going into the bodyshop this week),
fit latest type Mg bumpers (bought on e bay today)
fit Audi TT engine (mounts now done),
map engine on Pectel T2,
fit Brembo 4 pots with 330mm discs (ready in one week),
fit Discs on rear (bought and waiting),
fit electric p.a.s.,
fit stack dash,
compomotive 8x18's with 225 40 track tyres...

then give it loads on the track :DD:

Is that the engine that he was putting into the Metro??

Has he give up on that project then??

Or has he just got a few TT engines lying around  . Should be a great track car.

No that's the orange metro with the VVC engine.

The TT engine was going in a green metro, which I think was stated as being a test mule.

Just wondering if the Metro project has been scratched, that's all.

The 200 project is still excellent.

i thought the green 1 was just a test fit for the tt engine... and after that the plan was to put it in the orange 1... and now in the r25

the green metro was the test fit for the TT engine which was then going to go in the orange metro but that idea is now scrapped as martin is putting the tt engine in the R25 so the orange vvc powered metro is up for sale!

Cool, this could be interesting, those TT engines are meant to be good for some high power. Are they planning on going 4wd with it?
