Polish Rover 600
Was down the local scrappy looking for r600 front fog lamps, and found a 620 auto, inside was a guy removing the lh door card.
He asked me if I had a 600 and I replied yes, so I asked the same back and also asked are you Polish? he was and had a polish registered Rover 600 and couldn't premote the car higher, and he said he was suprised when arriving in the UK that the cars over here dont have the same good reputation as in his home country!
lol just a radom story for you.

There are tons in Peterborough, along with a seemingly huge contingent of Lithuanians.
Quite a few creeping up in Coventry now too.

Yup theres loads around here to but has anyone else noticed 90% of their cars are modified in some way? Nealy all the ones around here are complete sheds that i havnt got a clue how they made it here but they have still splashed out on new sets of 17's, window tints, exhausts hanging by cable ties e.t.c And another thing as they're still registered as polish they're all dodging road tax

It's the same here too Southside. Apparently we have more than 100,000 Polish working in Republic of Ireland now and I see a lot of PL and LT registered cars. More LT plates though for some reason and they are usually quite nice but older cars (like late 90's Audis) and the windows are always tinted.

That's because they all belong to the mafia and it's a standard requirement.IrishRover wrote:It's the same here too Southside. dont seem to see that many round my part, but i guess the cost of living comes into play a little.
Still, we can rest assured that big businesses are using this cheap labour, so we can all sit back and work less, and buy things cheaper, as apposed to an absurd suggestion that large companies are just raking in more profit...

AFAIK Clio's have a good reputation in the UK, but in my country they are the same as Rover's in UKMetromartin wrote: he said he was suprised when arriving in the UK that the cars over here dont have the same good reputation as in his home country!
