Garages, time to bite the bullet!

Post by dave_d »

Well, aftyer changing loads of parts, the Ti is STILL missing when idleing and still missing when accelerating!

I have changes so many bits and its getting expensive, so I have decided instead of spending out loads more to find it doesnt solve the problem I have decided that I am going to bite the bullet and put it into a garage to get a diagnostics computer to see if it can tell me what is wrong!

Not what I wanted as I am normally able to solve the problem, but this time its beat me!

All I know is its missing when idleing, acclerating, and it stinks of petrol! I checked what was in my boot while it was running the other day as I had to go get something big and wanted to check it would fit in my boot, and when I did that all I could smell was fuel, so there is definately something wrong, and its MOT time next month so if it smells like that I can see it failing!

So more money to spend out!

Not yet, I have decided its cheaper to get it put onto a computer in case it throws up something different as i dont want to be spending even more cash on it for it not to kill the problem, I have already spent loads and got nothing out of it

mainly been changing parts around the ignition side as its a weak spark, or missed spark

But the other things I am thinking of cost a bit more and are more annoying to get, so I am gonna do this and hope for the best so i can only changed 1 or 2 parts that are "needed" rather than parts that are not causing the problem
