Amazing, I was keeping an eye on the thread on passion ford but lost the link
That is gonna be a serious bit of kit, nothing compared to the cossie but none the less, wow
How much do you reckon it would cost to do it for a paying customer? Not that I could afford it, just curious

Quick question about the adjustable TCA's. Do they move the wheels further out from the normal position?
If so, is there any danger of the driveshaft popping out of the drive from the diff?

only when massively lowered...much the same with the front axle on most cars i guess.
wears on the inner edges.

ah ok! mine will not be lowered too much and i reckon i will be adjusting the arms to take the wheels outwards. the arms allow adjustment both ways though

Nice project Martin! Should be amazing once finished.
Did you use the same painter that did the Escort? If so the finish will be stuning as the Escort looked stuning at Ford Fair.
P.s. Saw you last month going down A14 to daddy thrash aswell.

Sorry for joining the conversation late.
That title says it all for me..... 'Reyland R25 track car project'. As soon as the world Reyland is mentioned, from your past car history, I just know that somthing special is gona be built!
It's a shame that dam Escort Cosworth was so good, you've kinda set yourself a high benchmark
Keep up the nice work!

Are the top mounts, suited for the original R25 strut housing? If so these should suit the 200 range also.

'Redline' recently did a feature on the 700+bhp missile Reyland Escort phoenix.
I'm not really a Ford man but this was rather impressive. Kinda makes me wish I was good friends with Martin Hadland, he had lots of spare time and I had a spare quarter million!!

They will be doing a feature on the yellow car too
As mentioned above we tested the car on track for the first time at Combe yesterday. We didn't really know what to expect as you really can't gauge a track car until you really push it ON track, I am pleased to report that it's an absolute missile and that I’m well pleased with it's first outing..

I will look out the figures and post them but post track session tyre temps suggest that the rear end is spot on but the front end needs a touch more camber having said that.... once the tyres have warmed up it handles like a dream as it is.

That was on slicks which were no where near as warm as I thought they were
Other than my mate Dave in the Metro passing me because of that the only other car that managed that was a well driven V8 MGB ..
