really do...as for next week, ooh I can't wait to see the three wanke.. i mean stooges take the rise out of rover some more like you know theyre going to.

Best thing about top gear has to be whenever they go ... now it's time to see if the car can handle!

then just bang it sideways like total nobheads on a runway 10x the size of a normal road...how odd that the Stig tries his very hardest not to do that when demonstrating how well a car handles in setting best lap times.

ah well

Gotta love those retards on top gear lmao

Don't think the presenters are retards, there just doing what any of us would do given the chance, why wouldn't you hoon it around.

As for being rover haters, i don't think they get any more stick than any other model of car, but then as a rover fan club site, people will always get a bit upset over them.

This season does seem to a little disapointing, Last nights show didn't really have a 'new' car on it, the 159 thats 2 years old, the civic type r thats at least 6months to a year old now, the M5 estate and Merc were both 56 plate cars, so a year old at least.

Seem to be running a little low on the ideas front at the moment :(

The 3 BL cars next week will be a Princess,SD1 & Triumph Dolomite.Don't know much about the tests, but I think one of them involves drilling holes in the roofs of the cars & filling them with water :? .I might be able to get a pic of the cars next Saturday.

Of course anyone would give a performance car a shoeing given the chance...sure any of us would push them to the limits most likely, I know I would.

I just know that I wouldn't slide a car sideways pseudo tokyo drift style on a straight or light corner where it's totally unnecessary and saying .. look at the great handling! as Jeremy showed last night with the M5 and Merc...and does every week in every car just like hammond does too.

what actually WAS the point in driving those cars at NIGHT [when they couldnt be seen properly] on a runway......

sensationalism! good tv! its not about the cars, its about getting viewers, and lets be honest, who wants to sit through an hr of somebody driving a car sensibly and going on about the ins and outs of the car on a purely technical level!

me ...seeing the stig pasting a car on it's limit round a track is nice

seeing some old wanna be comedians battering everything sideways just winds me up i guess.

It is good entertainment and kinda funny but you've gotta wonder how long this setup will last with James as the grandad and 'young' Jezza the obnoxious know it all ... gotta envy Hammond for the lady attention I guess cos much to my confusion he seems to really get the ladies to like him.

yep tbh i envy the buggers :D

just would be nicer if they could drive better.

I would have guessed there'd be an SD1 in there somewhere. That thing about filling that cars with water was done by Clarkson on one of his recentish DVD's with an American car and a Jag. He's got this bizarre idea that you can acrurately access the build quiality by seeing how well the cabin holds water :?

I thought this episode was very "sensible" in that they actually reviewed normal cars.

The runway thing was quite arty, and I remain impressed with the standard of camera work consistantly shown on top gear.

Im rite with you on that, sum very interesting and very techy video work. some of the shots with cars on the beach or in an industrial back drop are unreal! they would make spot on desk top wall paper. Wish i was part of that film crew.

tbh regardless of how "boring" the program seeems to be getting, Jeremy Clarkson is still one of the funniest men on the planet.
