Sad to see your selling her.
If i had the cash i'd give her a new home but funds ( and just buying my first house) say no.
Whoever buys the car is in for a treat , Its stunning.
Thats 2 Tickfords now in as many weeks and mine isn't on the road yet.

Re: '91 820 Turbo 16v
Couple of pics taken atop the white horse hill:
http://www.rover-resource.co.uk/820pics/28062008047.jpg
http://www.rover-resource.co.uk/820pics/28062008048.jpg
Car was rolling roaded ages ago at 216bhp / 231ftlb, and that was with the cat intact.
list of parts that are newer than expected are:
new genuine rover rad 3 years ago.
new indicator and number plates
halfrods chrome pipe trims.
front pads also done at last MOT (discs werent though)
Any offer considered, dont have time to fix the niggles (which are just the steering arms (inclduded with sale), one rusty coolant pipe, and the sagging bumper, and the sticky mirror motors), and it will only go down in value sitting on the drive...
So come on peeps, your chance to own the first turbocharged rover!

You've not given a reason why you're selling her. I am tempted but can't afford to run two cars and I can't get rid of Stella, it just wouldn't be right.

Stella now gone, Ruby is my baby now.

Re: '91 820 Turbo 16v **MORE PICS, £400**
im selling because i dont have space to work on the car anymore, i house share, and a 15 foot barge is a pain in the arse for all concerned, and a hedge prevents me from cleaning/fixing one side of the car.
combined with a promotion and more working hours, there just isnt time to do it justice.
quite why people dont snap them up i dont know... if it was a vitesse itd be sold now at that price?
its retro cool, thats what i tell myself, it has presence, white is coming back as a colour for new cars aswell!!!
its large, fast, cheap, what more could you want?

TWO!

In fact, hell, if you can't sell her for what you want, Din and I will try to figure out some way of storing her between us!
Promise we won't rip the engine out to put in the 214, too.

Why no more Rovers Scott? They make for a cheap fast far. There are plenty of late model zr and zs's about that don't need much work done.

Fine big, comfy cheap to run bus, looked very respectable in the pics you put up when you got it. I felt the same going from a nice clean immaculate Celica to the 400 diesel, am well accuntomed to the 400 now though. Cheap cheap motoring.Scott wrote: even if its logger!
