to everyone who has pm'd me, i will reply tomorrow, i am away from my computer and using my phone atm and it's a bit slower than a pc, smile - the strut brace has been dibbed already but you are next in line, the spoiler has got very slight and small bubbles but otherwise in good condition, one of the repeaters has a bit of the plastic fixing tab broke but still hold's.

Strut brace is sold pending payment, and there is about another 5 people in line for it, same with the oil catch tank.

I know it gets said everytime, but why break a perfectly good shell? I could understand it if the car was a bit of a dog, and i can understand why you would want to break it from a monetary point of view, but it seems a shame that what would appear to be a perfectly good shell winding up going to the scrappers :(

It looks better on the pics than close up Tom, the rear quarters are badly scratched(keyed) and dented, and would cost too much to get perfect again, when even minters are fetching less than a good spray job would cost.

Is there any way the car could be returned to more or less standard - i.e. have you kept any of the standard parts? Then could sell the performance parts and the rest of the car as a whole... I guess you've probably also considered this route though...

Yep i did consider this but i sold all the old spare parts to fund the new ones, and to buy the parts again to put it back to standard would probably not worth the money and effort as they don't seem to be fetching good money,
I did this with my last coupe when they were fetching good money about 2 years ago.

Have you got a complete spec sheet?

Which gearbox is fitted, is it a normal coupe turbo K7 gearbox with TorSen type A? Can i have provisional dibs pending price and removal from car to verify if you dont know for certain.

Running the correct speedo ring or not?

Ie has it been rebuilt and if so by who and using which bearings?

That gearset is too long or short depending on which way it works, my brain wont work tonight for me, but i would be interested depending on price and if i can get my head to work again.
